Become a Board Member

Are you interested in helping us make a difference in the lives of survivors of gender-based violence, particularly Latinx immigrant women in New York City? If so, you can apply to become a board member at our violence intervention program. As a board member, you will play an important role in guiding our organization’s strategic direction and ensuring our services meet the needs of the communities we serve.

By joining our board, you’ll be advocating for policies and initiatives that promote safety, resilience, and justice for survivors. You’ll work with our team to create innovative solutions to address these urgent and complex issues. As part of our board, you’ll help shape our comprehensive support programs, educational campaigns, and advocacy efforts. Our goal is to create a future where every individual can live free from violence and fear, and where survivors receive unwavering support to rebuild their lives with dignity and strength.

If you’re interested in exploring board membership, please email Lourdes Santiago, our Development & Communications Associate at lsantiago@vipmujeres.org to learn more.
